Mary Klingensmith, M.D.

Dr. Klingensmith has been a faculty member at WUSM for 13 years while giving birth to and raising 2 children. As the primary caregiver for two small children, she understands the struggle of finding the balance between work, family, and personal time. Being divorced from another surgeon, she has experience both as a member of a dual career couple and as a single parent. She can share her experience with the struggles of divorce, how to achieve a good relationship with exes, and blending families. She understands the stress of finding reliable childcare and has experience with WU/BJC daycare, nannies, and babysitters.
