Susan Dutcher, M.D.
Professor of Genetics and of Cell Biology and Physiology
Dr. Dutcher has been a faculty member at WUSM for 14 years while raising 2 children, who are now pursuing post-grad education. Her husband is also a WUSM faculty member, and they have stayed actively engaged in their family life by maintaining an equal partnership and living close to work. Preparing lectures and reading in the early hours before the kids woke up allowed more time to interact with the kids. She has employed a housekeeper once a week so that off time can be spent with family.
